Monday Dec 5th Gotcha day...

Stay until Thurs/Friday to finalized adoption in Tia's Province.

Friday Dec 9th Fly to Guangzhou to do Medicals, Visa's

Tuesday December 13th 8:30 am United States Consulate appointment

Tia Becomes an American Citizen.

December 14th Tia gets her visa

December 15th Fly into Chicago 4:00pm

on to Lambert Airport St. Louis  9:05pm

Friday, Dec 2: Depart from the US Friday2:
Arrive in Beijing Sat Dec 3 next flight to
Arrive in Xi'an (Tia's City)
 Dec 4: Sun 
 It is possible you may meet your child on Sunday afternoon
Monday Dec 5- meet your children or begin the adoption process
Tues to Thurs, Dec 6-8: you will be in your child’s province completing the adoption process, applying for your child’s passport and sightseeing
Fri, Dec 9: receive all adoption documents and fly to Guangzhou, you will meet other CHI families in GuangzhouSat,
Dec 10 : go to the medical clinic for your child’s examination
Sun Dec 11:  free day
Mon Dec 12:  recheck at the medical clinic
Tues, Dec 13: CONFIMRED American Consulate appointment and interview AT 8:30AM.
Wed, Dec 14: You will receive your child’s visa in the late afternoon
Thurs, Dec 15: You can return to the US

               Tia Xue Soar

 

 Eric and Amy are proud to announce the newest addition to the Soar Family

 She is being adopted from China, the City of Ankang, Shaanxi Provence .

Her Birthday is November 11, 2009.  Her orphanage given name is XueYou Dang and her new adopted name will be Tia Xue(薛) (pronounced Shien) Soar.  Tia has a small clef lip
that will be repaired once she is home.  She was born with a bilateral cleft lip and cleft palate, which was mended at a young age in China.  She was considered "special focus" or special need due to her handicap, which is why God put her on our path.

                                               

She will have two brothers, Dylan 9 , Daniel 5 yrs, and a kitty named Skyla.

We started our Journey in June 2010.  Patiently waiting and complying with the paper chase at a snail's speed.  Homestudies, background checks, notorizations, certifications, authenications, etc.  We were finally matched to her on June 10, 2011. Now again the long greuling wait for more paperwork.  Hense, the word "Red Tape".. maybe miles and miles of it.
We hope to travel to China in early to mid December.
